This area is devoted to capturing global perspectives on issues facing women across borders, with particular emphasis on how violence against women intersects with human trafficking, militarism and state violence, poverty, health, and other forms of oppression. The International Women's Day Special Collection Series will also highlight how women respond to and resist violence, women's empowerment, and women-centered community-based initiatives.

International Women's Day Special Collection Series
Each year, the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence, with support from the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, organizes resources around the theme of International Women’s Day. These series of Special Collections highlight issues related to international violence against women - to honor the experiences of women around the world and bring attention to the global impact of violence against women.
